Biography

Samuel (Schmul) Zebrak, second oldest son of Josef Zebrak and Rachel Karlewitz, was born on June 6, 1903 in Kaluszyn.

On January 9, 1918 his arrival from Warsaw was recorded in Augsburg, after his mother had died in Warsaw. He was a woodworker by trade and from January 11, 1918 worked in the Wessel shoe factory. On March 20, 1920 he was expelled from Bavaria (residence for "Russians" was forbidden in Bavaria). On June 30, 1921 he voluntarily left the city to escape deportation.

He was registered in Frankfurt am Main on August 5, 1921.

This was followed by his emigration to Chile.
